The World Happiness Report is a landmark survey of the state of global happiness. The World Happiness Report 2018, ranks 156 countries according to their happiness levels, and 117 countries by the happiness of their immigrants.
The Main focus of the year 2018 report was also on immigration between countries as well besides their usual ranking methodology and changes in happiness around the world.The overall rankings of country happiness are based on the pooled results from Gallup World Poll surveys from 2015-2017 which show both change and stability.

Finland is the winner of 2018.As per the various criteria like a good life expectancy, strong social support, equitable income distribution, generosity, trust, and freedom. Though the happiness level has dropped slightly over the last few years,Canada still has managed to secure the 7th position.Last year also Canada was in 7th position.Before 2017, Canada typically took the 5th or 6th spot.This year, Canada scored 7.3.

#8.New Zealand

Compared to 2017, New Zealand remains unchanged and secured the 8th position this year as well.


Sweden has swapped with Australia to climb one place this year and ranked the 9th happiest country of 2018.


Australia slipped one place down in this year’s report, but still managed stay in the top 10 happiest countries in the world in 2018 .
